England Lowered Coopers

Anybody care to comment on what difference lowering their car has made. Has the ride suffered? Are there problems with speed humps (in London that's a serious consideration)?
Any before and after photos?

I'm getting mine dropped on 24th April (Pi springs -30mm) and I'll let you know how I get on. Should fill out the arches nicely - am also looking for imporved handling, although I'm considering a sway bar and strut brace combo as well.
Anyway, if you're still after some feedback, PM me after 24th and I'll give you the rundown.

Oh - forgot to mention - Don't drop it more than 20mm if you're running 18" wheels or higher as you'll get arch rubbing.

i thought about getting it lowered, but on looking, its already pretty low so i'm not sure now. it would look mean if it was lowered even more, but i think it would make a difference to the ride, but i'm not that technically minded so i could be completely wrong.

Alrite Phat_Mini,

The advice came from MiniSport - they told me that I'd get arch rub if I was running 18s and dropped 30mm.

What's the rear anti roll bar like - any good? Worth buying?

Blacknight

Just a thought it could be that the only reason mine does not rub is because of anti roll bar it really makes the car stiff, harsh ride but if you like a solid slammed car its worth bying i think they cost £150.00 2 hours to fit
