Has anyone got or seen a gold mini yet?

I spoke to my local dealer who reckons that the gold ones are sooooo desirible that they wont be seen about much. Has anyone got a picture of one, im not silly enough to order a car without seeing the colour of it!

Cheers
Kev

Not got a picture but my dealer has one in their showroom. Looks nice, much to my surprise.

I think there is a picture of one in Paul Mullets vast gallery.

I saw one yesterday but didn't have my camera. They are quite a pale gold, not really like the 'Lexus' gold. The one I saw had a gold roof too which I wasn't sure about. The dealer said it looks better with a black roof. Not my kind of colo(u)r, but not as bad in the metal as I had feared.

A young lady round my way has a pink MINI which must be a re-spray job. I tryna get a pic of it as it does look pretty good if you like that kinda thing. I'm surprised it's not an official colo(u)r as I am sure plenty of girls would go for pink....

That look's like something Barbie might own - it's very girlie!!

Our neighbours across the street's daughter is getting a gold MINI. Apparently it was meant to be arriving this month, but it's been put back for another month

I have seen a pic of one in a book I've got a book called 'New MINI' by Graham Robson, in there are a few pics of a gold one with a black roof and beige interior - that looks quite tidy but I don't think it would be one of my choices.

It's exactly like that! But I don't think it's the same one location wise. Somebody in the UK is spraying Coopers pink......!

I have seen 2, both with black roofs. They look better in person than in photographs.

Not the color I would pick though!

Dealer in Huddersfield has gold over gold Cooper in showroom. Looks really good. Black over gold would look superb IMO.

Mini Cooper Black Solid / White White Mirrors, 16" Silver 5 Stars, Chili Pack, ASC, Red/Black Cloth Leather Sports Seats, BoostCD, Aircon - Sadly departed, waiting for R56 Cooper S.

I havent seen the gold in person yet, I think the colour isnt that bad, but there are much nicer ones they could have added before going for gold (wheres me washboard?!)

If there had been a true BRG I would have gotten my Cooper in it w/ white roof. Ah well it will have to wait for my NEXT Cooper (S)

I LOVE MY GOLD MINI COOPER!!

Took delivery of my gold mini nearly two weeks ago, from my local dealer in Bournemouth (1st for them in gold) and I am chuffed to bits. I was abit wary as I hadn't seen a gold mini before, but ordered it, back in Feb, none the less.

Back to the dealer today (nothing to do with the colour!) The windows had a mind of their own and would open half an inch after the car had been locked. All sorted, I hope.

I would say to anyone who is pondering over the colour to order their new mini, go for what YOU like. Afterall, it will be your car and your colour. That's the great thing about Minis, you can be individual and different and, in my opinion, they all look great!

Went down the dealer last week, and there was one with a black roof parked outside just about to be driven away by the new owner. When I spoke to the dealer I said I didn't like the colour, because I don't, and he agreed, saying: "I don't think we'll be selling too many more that colour!"

There's one in Cooper's Thames Ditton (Surrey) showroom - A Cooper with a back roof. Looks rather smart, although I'm not sure it's a 'mini' colour, it's better suited to large 'prestige' type saloons, imo.
