The silver seems to be the one that scratches - anthracite/alloy patina don't really seem to scratch much, from what I understand.
I love the patina now, didn't used to, but it's grown on me
I love the shade of the indi blue - not too dark, not too light, and the metallic really shines and glistens in the sun.
I didn't want a white roof 'cos I'm not into them, and I didn't want all-blue as that's a bit boring and a bit one-ish (after all, contrast roof's are what minis are all about

) so the other option was the black.
I do like it, and it's my favourite colour combo (hence the reason I picked it

). The chrome really sets the darkish colours off, and the 17" s-spokes do lift the car quite a bit. I don't think it's dated at all - the MINI is arguably the most stylishly up-to-date car around at the moment, the colour can't change that. Or rather, the ROOF colour can't change that
Plus, IB/B is very rare, IMHO there isn't a dated or "boring" colour combo on the MINI - even if there was, the styling of the car itself would override it
What does anyone else think - IB/B a no-no?
