Leather sport MFSW on MC now?

I'm not quite sure as if I had seen this in the 03 configurator, but now it seems that you can get this as an option instead of the default leather MFSW as part of the Premium package. Note this is for the MC. Is this new for 04, or had I not seen this earlier?

Yes, the perforated, thumbgripped wheel is a new option on the MC.

Does that come with the current UK spec if Chili Pack and MFSW are specced - in other words will my MINI sitting at Thorne have it on

Mines a May 2003 build, its has MFSW with Chili pack and is perforated with thumb grips. I think they had just started doing it May/April time on Coopers.

It was April (I think) when it was brought in as standard with the Cooper Chili pack. Mine's a July '03 and it's got the perforated leather wheel w/thumbgrips (MFSW).

Another feature (as well as the follow-me-home lights) MINI are using as false "new" features that have been around for a while

Is it just me that doesn't like the perforated steering wheel ? When I order my Cooper I will be ordering no packages but I will be getting the MFSW, does this mean I get that perforated wheel ? Is there anyway I can not get it and just get the nicer smooth leather wheel ?

Just had my dealer go and look at my car to check for sure - and mine does have the thumb grip style wheel - Chili pack and MFSW are the combo that do this apparently

It's Chili pack and Cooper that do this Regardless of whether you add the MFSW or not :-)

(standard on the S)
