how low can u go ?!?

Next thusday (25th September), I'll be taking delivery of my first new car, & glad to say it's a MINI. Already had my Kahn 18" RSS wheels delivered, their making a nice coffee table at the mo. Im going to be lowering my new family member, but need some advice on what sort of distance she can go. On the Kahn website they say a Cooper can be lowered 35mm with no body mods to except the 18" wheels. PLEASE can anyone help us and let us know how far you can go.
Just like to say what a awesome website this is with such a world wide following. Hopefully i'll have some photos of my new car on the sit next weekend. Comos black, matt black stripes, tinted windows, clearlights all round, panoramic roof & spoiler and not forgeting the 18" Kahns.

I'm not sure on how much you could go, I know a few on here have 18's so might be best doing a search and see what you can come up with?
