I ordered my mini cooper in september of last year, Iam in the uk and iam just curious of how long the waiting lists are for other parts of the country how long did any1 have to wait for their minis to arrive??
Thanks, I was only wondering due to being told by the delaer firstly it would only take 3 months... that would have been to the start of december, I have read a few posts and see that if they run out of their allocation then they wouldnt be any left. Iam now into my 5th month of waiting for a MC just really wanted to see if any1 else have had a similar problem when ordering their MC.
Well, the mini has been made and got deilvered to doncaster where at the moment all i can see it doing is sitting in a compound collecting dust. It has been made took to doncaster to be delivered again to chester where iam picking it up. The dealership has said that they have no control over what cars get delivered on the day
You have to remeber that demand went up at the end of Septemner when the Italian Job
came out. At this poing waiting lists seem to move from Mid December to late January.
I was fortunate, ordered my Cooper at the end of October '03and it was delivered end of November '03. It just happenbed that when I was looking to order that the dealer had had a cancellation that was not built yet. Was able to spec it how I wanted. That was also the dealer in Chester, thought they were excellent. Could not find fault with them from ordering the car to delivery.
dont get me wrong the dealers in chester are superb i cant find a fault but i think something else should be in place to cope with the high demand of minis to be delivered to each dealership perhaps?
Ordered my Cooper at the start of September 03 and was told 26 January 04. It seems there is a chance that I could get it slightly earlier, 23/24th I've been told. Hope so, want the car now!
I ordered my Mini in early December at Doncaster.. Am finally picking it up today.. Yahoo..
I could have had it last month but it was decided to puch back and get 04 compliance plates. Cant complain though.
