Believe you can still order the spare wheel (£35 option) with the Cooper if it comes with runflats. Very handy if you ever decide to move away from runflats.

Standard with CHILLI pack. Not an option to not have runflats with 16 or 17" wheels.

Does anyone know where a spare wheel goes ?
I have 17" runflats on my cooper but worry about trashing one in the middle of nowhere. Is it possible to get a spare just in case ?

So if I fork out for another whell and tyre will it fit?
Also I know this might sound dumb but Im confused by the run flat warning system , when I check the pressure then reset the sensors ,as the book suggests , how long before the light on the dash goes out ?
The book says it takes some time to learn the new pressures but Ive driven 20 odd miles and the light stays on !!!

Its supposed to learn before you move off.

As for the spare, well the spare is a space saver so won't match regadless of what wheels you get, unless you choose space saver size wheels

The Spare SHOULD work with any of the standard manufacturers wheels, or tyre sizes. So long as your tyre sizes are legal (within +/- 3 % i think) then your space saver will work.
