Cool New Cooper Owner

Hello to you all,

well it's been a torrid week, (see post below) but I am in serious Lurve with my new cooper... help!

http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthrea...&page=85&pp=15

What easy to fit (and inexpensive) mods should I be looking at then?

Drop in K&N filter is easy to fit and cheap (around £35). Can't really say it adds to the performance, for me sticking a tank of Optimax in makes more of a difference, but it sure makes the car sound sweeter

Is it performance or looks you're wanting to change?

Minor cosmetic and performance tweaks is what I'm after...

nice interior! looks good in the photo.
It might not be a minor cosmetic mod, but I'd start saving the pennies for new wheels, they'd definitely help the looks.

Enjoy after such a crap week!

BRG/W Cooper, 17" S-spoke, Rear Spoiler ++ with more to come...

A small mod I did first of all was to put the "S" side grilles on. Makes a bit more of a visual impact.

I have a shorter aerial and new tax disk holder coming next week. Small mods that make the difference.

Sad - eh?!!

interior is very colourful, i toned mine down some. all to there own i say. do like your red seats though i have to say.

mods i did: aero kit plus spoiler and alpine Cd player.

no pictures of my kit yet, this aint a cheap mod but looks sweet.

in my opinion get the side chrome grills. the ones from moss mini, they are same style as teh black ones but in good quality chrome stuff. the best i believe.

you could get a cooper S fuel cap. very decent mod. looking around 40 - 50 i think.

could get a spoiler if you havent got one, 3 types: chilli pack, cooper S and aero spoiler. i recomand aero spoiler, i do have pictures of this!

happy flashing!

I've gone for Viper stripes, Aero spoiler, tax disc holder, short aerial (as long as you don't mind not being able to listen to Terry Wogan in the morning ) glove box organiser, chrome GB, K&N, aftermarket stereo, silver indicator bulbs...

Take your time, try to have a theme and spend hours looking through catalogues/websites choosing your bits. These are the unforseen pleasures of owning a Mini

Glovebox organiser - adds a middle shelf and dividers to make the glovebox more useful.

Stainless Steel GB

Both from Minispares as you'll see from the links.
