My New Best Friend

Hey Guys,

Its been along time coming, but i picked up my first car on Saturday, and im over the moon.

The picture doesnt seem to the car justice for some reason, it looks 400 times better in the metal, maybe its just the angle.

Anyway, its a little Indi Cooper

I think thats it - i keep finding new toys to play with... like if you press the lock button after its locked, the interior lights fade up, then fade down.... my brother had great fun with the follow me home lights, and we spent 20 minutes playing with the auto dim mirror

I got a Cooper, fully intending to get an S in January, but there is little or no chance of it happening now.. I like the lines, I drove an S briefly last year and i just cant justify the price increase, and the insurance.

Even just to glance out my bedroom window; as two 25 year old guys walk past, take a glance.. walk past it and glance back at it... gives me a warm feeling inside.

Parked it in Hombase's car park the other day, to get some bath taps... and i must have turned back 10 times to look at it... it takes 5-10 minutes to find a space in the car park that i consider to be safe for it

I added the "S" Vents today, and immeditaly took them off, who am i kidding, its not an S, i dont want it to be... but i did put some black John Cooper signitures on the white stripes at the top, which finishes it off.

Couldnt be more happy at this moment in time... hmm i need a girlfreind... too bad.. cant afford one now

You do right not badging the Cooper as an S, you
wouldn't get much respect for that. Make's me wonder why
people put a front scoop on a Cooper? why? -just by an S !

I think the S badges are really stylish, it just feels wrong having them on there though..

But like i said, I like the look of it more than an "S", there are reasons why i would have an S ... but i am very happy with this Cooper, and nothing at the moment will change that.

I think it needs a slightly bigger spolier... still not sure.. only time will tell.. and i would really like to drive the JCW conversion, to see if its worth the money.. from what people have said i guess its not, but i do want to keep my TLC.
