United-Kingdom Grab Handles

Does anyone know if grab handles can be fitted to an 04 Cooper which does not have roof airbags fitted? I don't believe they were an option at the time of purchase.

Never found the need for one. Even as a passenger during auto-x classes.
Get the seat right, plant your feet against the firewall and then lay your right/left arm along the armrest on the door.
If that doesn't keep you stable enough then you need harnesses.

Unless you're talking about just for vehicle entry/exit then disregard the above statement.

I have had people complain when getting out my back seat that handles would of helped. Also when showing what the car can do it would help passengers.

Yes, just for getting in & out of car, particularly from the back - there is a tendancy for people to use the front window to lever themseves out. BUT can they be fitted - are there screw holes under the lining on the 04 model?
