New MC Arriving Good News/Bad News

At last, the waiting is almost over. My new Cooper is being delivered tomorrow Yeh!!! Well, almost all of it is anyway. Got a call today at 3.45 to say that it was ready to be delivered tomorrow, but as EB is new Cooper colour, the Aerokit in EB is going to take a little longer - 2 and a half WEEKS longer.

Wouldn't mind but further to an earlier thread - where there was a rumour of the aerokit for the facelift models not being available til September, I called my dealer to confirm that all would be OK, which they assured me it was. Talk about an 11th hour realisation!

I don't know if they are kidding me or not, but as it isn't a local dealer I have agreed with them that they will come and collect it back from me when the aerokit is available, and bring it back all sorted. They even said they would provide a loan car if it takes more than 1 day.

So I am ECSTATIC that at last my MC (first ever mini!) is arriving tomorrow, but a bit down that it will be semi-naked.

Will I ever sleep tonight I wonder?

EB/W, Chilli, CD, manual aircon, spot lights, MFSW, visibility pack, heated mirrors, Alarm, White lights, white indicators. Oh yes, and the aerokit, eventually.....

While you haven't got your exact spec you requested your car will still look fantastic and then you will have the bonus of seein it looking even better when the aero kit is on.I know we should expect good efficient service and i'm suprised that they havent offered you a courtesy car full stop,irrespective of how long it takes cos its their problem, but don't look on the down side what with picking your car up ,it will still be a good experience and you'll love it.Hope everything else about your pick up goes well and you 'll soon be finding any excuse to go out in it even minus its aero kit.

Will be like you have had two Minis However i'm not a fan of the aerokit so personally i wouldn't care
