My last Cooper was red/black and I loved that combination, so decided a change was in order and went for BEP - really regret it! It's a lovely colour but scratches really really easily. My car is with the dealer at the moment and the courtesy car is a silver One - I would definately recommend this colour as it will never show scratches (unless viewed up close) and it also hides the dirt really well!! Personally, it would be a hard choice between Chilli Red and Pure Silver, but as you have currently got red maybe you should give the silver a go - mind you, choosing red would save you £250 on the metallic paint!!! 54 Cooper, BEP/Black, Chilli Pack, ASC+T, SS+, Alarm, CD Boost, 16" FIN Alloys, Anthracite Headlining, Xenons, Multi-function S/Wheel, Driving Lamps, sh*t build quality... ![]() Now SOLD!!! Goodbye MINIs and good riddance....

I must have... changed the colour combo 5 times already....started with BRG/B but felt that was too dark....then red (decided for a change), then PS/B, then Black/Black (decided this stratches too easily) so back to PS/B. But now thinking CR/W will be a better option esp when I come to sell. There doesn't seem to be many PS/B around...... HELP!!!!!! Its giving me a headache!!!!

don't think about resale, get the colour you want. PS/B is pretty common on S's so a Cooper in this combo should look good. its a shame you can't spec pure silver with a white roof - this looks really retro & classy. my dealer had one as a special with a george cross on the white roof & it looked mint.

| Like Hat says, get whatever you would be most happy with - that way other people will be happy with it too! If you are thinking of trading it in against an S then the dealer probably won't care what colour it is anyway. And if it is going to be a private sale then red and silver are both the most popular colour choices around just now so neither will count against you. So go for what you want most - after a year it may come to pass that you can't go up to the S for whatever reason and you don't want to be stuck with a car in a colour you don't really want! 54 Cooper, BEP/Black, Chilli Pack, ASC+T, SS+, Alarm, CD Boost, 16" FIN Alloys, Anthracite Headlining, Xenons, Multi-function S/Wheel, Driving Lamps, sh*t build quality... ![]() Now SOLD!!! | My MINi was PS, it always looked smart and was easy to keep clean. Didn't show up chips etc. IMO you don't NEED a contrast roof and some colours like PS & Black, dark blues look better with the roof the same colour. If you go for red though consider red with a black roof, looks really good and nowhere near as common as red/white. |

I was going to get our MCS PS/PS and switched to CR/CR. I really like the elegance of the all PS, but the all CR just seems to have more life...vitality to it. In addition, it is a bit unusual from what I have read.
