Talking Well...my cooper is here too! ;)



This is me picking it up today...too much to tell about the car..i'm going driving but I would say that I was going to get the outdoor cover for the car...saw it and it wasn't really what I wanted so I told the dealer I'd think about it...my sales guy came back and gave me a special felt indoor cover that he said, "i'm not supposed to give you" for free!!! Will post some pics of that soon...gotta go MOTOR!!!

btw, anybody in the states (or somebody overseas could help ) figure out what to do about the front plate yet? I'd like an insert that is just straight across so I can run with no front plate..

Front plate holder is easy to remove

two screws and some double sided tape.

I had mine removed within an hour after getting home with the car. Just got a replica British plate - put on this weekend - no pics yet.

yeah..i was thinking about either putting in a uk plate or maybe just have the section filled in like it is in my TT...

kinda like in this picture


Would that insert piece be available??

I don't recall any previous discussion at all about an insert. But, no doubt someone will come up with one if there is a demand for them.
