Useless WIndscreen Washers

Anybody else have problems with their windscreen washers. Driving through the piney woods of east Texas I went through a bug storm - should have taken pictures as the front of my green car was actually black. The washers mostly just went in one stream over the window and them streamed over (and clouded up) my side windows. Is there an adjustment for them or are they just useless?

Also, can someone recommend a windscreen solution. I got Turtle Wax? Bug removing solution and it left a horrible haze everywhere - especially the side windows where most of it ended up.

Its not really anything to do with the washers-just the fact that MINI's attract alot of bugs-and you will literally have to wash the windscreen properly to get em off-Wipers wont shift them

Try RainX - stuff sticks a lot less with it on the glass.

I've always wondered why god made bugs and bird-droppings out of superglue...

They are adjustable--use a sewing needle inserted in the jet to gently re-aim them.

I've found there's nothing quite like washing my Mini in the rain for getting rid of bugs.

The one good side of London's acid rain.
