Neither will be perfect I'm afraid. But both are a vast improvement over the stock egg yolk look.

Give it a couple of days and I'll be able to do a test for you.

Cheers Liam

Don't think you'll have a problem with the silver indicator bulbs, once they are in the look white - in my opinion they look better than the blue ones, you're just swapping one colour (yellow) for another (blue).

Take a look at the photo....

Definitely agree. For some reason my pics came out a bit different to how the eye usually sees the Silvervisions. AndrLync's pic above gives a much better impression of how these globes look.

The Diadem look noticably blue, wasn't happy with them when I got them (was a group buy, long, long ago ).

Still looks 100% better than the norm though! Only thing I'm thinking of replacing them with is a proper "chrome" blub, that'll look perfect.

How well do the Phillips Silvervision lights match up with Xenon headlights?

I mean, do they produce pretty clear, white light?

The bulb we are talking about is the Phillips Silvervision indicator bulb, which when lit flashes orange, but has a chrome-type covering avoiding the egg-yolk look!

I have recently changed my full beam lights to try and get that zenon look to match my zenon main's, i used phillips bluevision, they give better distance for driving but still dont look anything like the zenon's, i also used phillips bluevision sidelights which came with the Full beam bulbs, these too dont look anything like the zenon's. I think you need led's for the sidelights

Be aware that with either version, the chrome coating does block about 30% of the available light. On the Sylvania version in the US, they use a 27-watt filament to compensate. If you are using a 21-watt chromed bulb, you are getting the light equivalent of a 15-watt bulb, i.e. significantly dimmer than stock.

I haven't found any 27-watt non-chromed replacement bulb for the 7507 bulbs, and there is no US-equivalent bulb number.

That may be the case OldRick, but I can't say that, in Australian conditions at least, the light given from the Silvervision globes would cause any problems. IMO the only way you could prove any light blockage would be by undertaking a proper scientific test, certainly with the naked eye I doubt you would be causing anyone any problems.
