Not another one - Exterior choices/Advice Required Hi all, First post here. This week I'll be getting hold of a new MCS Works 210 with Chilli pack (including LSD ) to try out for 5 days before deciding whether or not to place an order as my impending next company car.The specs I'm thinking of are... Dark silver / black or no stripes / black or dark silver or chrome mirrors / black or dark silver roof / / black5 spoke bullet alloys / No additional bodykit / Maybe additional headlights Black / No stripes / Chrome or Black mirrors / black roof / 5 spoke bullet alloys / No additional bodykit / Maybe additional headlightsI'd appreciate it if anyone with pics as close to these various specs as possible (I'm in love with chrome mirrors) could post them as browsing through the galleries it's hard to work out what a standard mini looks like. If there is such a thing. I'm keen on creating quite a cool, pimp looking mini with attitude, so white stripes/mirrors/roofs are out. Opinions please. And would an all black mini just look like a hackney taxi? Thanks... |

| All black is the best ![]() I'm biased though! You might want to look at this thread it's for all black coopers, but will give you an idea of what an all black S will look like. Bare in mind you can only get black metallic now though, not flat black. Mines the metallic and i love it, but not everyone likes the metallic paint. |

| Thanks mate, Black is definately nice. It's hard enough picking a single colour for a normal car but this customisation this takes it to a new level. I definately think less is more. One forum member who's car sticks out is Scooby 212. That car is truly amazing. Hands off to you sir. |

| MCS Works 210... for a company car... lucky devil. I'm a big fan of all black, but it's a pain to keep clean and scratches/chips really show up (although that's an issue with any dark coloured car I suppose). DS/B is a nice combo though, too. The only "drawback" is that both are popular colours and so there's loads of them around. Not sure if that would put me off... if I was ordering a new MINI, it would either be black, or something right at the other end of the scale. The 17" bullet wheels are definitely a good choice though, I love mine. As for the "no bodykit" - are you sure? I'm a huge fan of the Aero skirts (not so much the rest of the kit). Very subtle but they make a huge difference to the look of the car. And besides, the standard sills aren't very "pimp", are they? For photos of "standard" cars, skip the user galleries and check the model specific galleries with the official/press photos... far more standard looking cars in there. If you want a car that's easy to spec, get a Type-R. You get about 3 colours, one trim level, and an options list that you could write on the back of a stamp. |
