DIY Aero side skirt

Hi,

Just had the side skirts fitted.

they don't appear to fit perfectly with the bodywork - the part near the door sill at the bottom right where it is ridged. the actual sill now also pulls fully away from the bodywork - i see that underneath there is ony sticky back plastic keeping it held on, are there no clips ????

i can provide photos if required....

Too many mods to list, PM me if the cat needs killing...

Your not the first, is it worse on the passenger side than the drivers side?

There are different coloured clips, some which are slightly longer than the others, if the wrong ones are used then it will sit slightly away from the body.

There are a few threads about it on MINI2, if you have a search I am sure you will find the answer

Yes, please provide photo. I just fitted mine the day before, I don't find any problem, or mis-fitted. May be I overlooked, but your photo may help to understand.

If there was a gap, would that be due you may still have an old clip still on the body, so the new one cannot be fitted in and created a gap? Just guessing.
