Fitting Clear Rear Lights

Woohoo purchased my black MCS last night, absolutely awesome.

I have just purchased some 2 rear clear lights and the third spoiler brake light to put on this and was wondering how easy/hard this is to do yourself?

Thanks,

Chris

Do you mean the full clear rear lights or just the clear indicator. Also which phase of MCS is it 1st or 2nd?

I didn't think you could get a clear high level brake light?

The main lights are simple, remove the side covers in the boot, disconnect the lights, undo the 10mm nut, remove light unit, refit is reverse of that. Just don't overtighten the nut.

Top brake light is 4 torx screws, light pops out, disconnect wiring plug (that can be the hardest part sometimes, so mind the paintwork) refit in reverse order.

Then post pics once complete

Yes, don't over tighten screws on the third top barke light.

Mine was fitted by dealer from new and after sometimes the lens developed a crack diagonally across it followed by numerous fine hair line cracks from the bottom edge. Remember this light takes alot of stress from the tailgate slamming down. Fortunately, I got it changed under warranty as it was an option taken when first purchased.
