| Hi and welcome to MINI2 Yes, I think you are basically right. Make sure the roof is very clean then make it very wet (I think you can add some washing up liquid to the water). "float" the decal on the water film then use a squeedgy to squeeze the water out from under the vinyl. Never done it myself but I remember reading about on here once. Might be worth having a search to get the full detailed instructions and pitfalls etc. Good luck  |

| depends what yor doing for something big a fiddly say a union jack or viper stripes id go for a professional fit  minitorque.com, the site for mini performance, drag racing track days & time attack its all change for the S, to be revealed soon |

| I had viper stripes installed on my last car and it took 2 professionals 4.5 hours to fit they charged me £100 inc the vynal but said with hindsight they would have asked for nearly £300!!!! |
