Door Numbers

Hi, I've recently bought some number decals for the side of my car. I'm going to fit them at the weekend but I have a small concern. Should I fit them so they run parallel with the top of the doors (bottom of window) or with the bottom of the car (so they are parallel with the ground/eyel evel)? Does that make sense ?
Opinions and advice would be appreciated.
Cheers
Martyn

I would use a spirit level to ensure that they are parallel to the ground.

If they are placed so that they are parallel to any non-horizontal part of the car it will look odd. Very odd.

hmmmmm, that's a strange one! What if the ground isn't level?

reminds me of a chap yesterday....I was putting my Christmas tree onto the roof of my car to take it to the recycling depot and some wag walked past and said "A bit late for that!" implying that i was just getting my tree. I chuckled so much!!! I only wish i had said "Oh, aye....they are selling them cheap down the road...a bit of a bargin!!"

This is a valid question

I put mine on parallell to the top of the door, I think next time I would put them parallell to the bottom of the door

put them equie distant between the top and botton so theres an almost equal ammount of paint above and below but in line with the driver imo

Thanks for the input guys. The weather has been terrible, so I haven't had a chance to put them on. I'll try and post some pics when I succeed though.
Cheers
