Factory stripes. Are they paint or decals?

I pick up my MCS next week. I was thinking about some things I've read about care and feeding of MINI's and nowhere have I read if the factory stripes, not dealer installed stripes, are painted or decals. Any one know the answer to this 100%?

They're expensive white celotape! Not paint.

Decals, paint would be far too expensive on a car like MINI.

All MINI stripes are applied vinyl... MINI offer no option for permanent painted stripes

they're decals, and will probably be fitted to your MINI when it gets to the dealership. factory hours are far too expensive. also, you can take them off whenever u want without leaving sticky stuff. wot u cant do is put 'em back on again!
