Quad Spot Lamps

I already have a pair of BMW spot lamps fitted by the dealer when the car was new. If I wanted quad lamps, is it as easy as purchasing another identical pair and brackets and taking the feed from the other spot lamps? If I did this do you think the existing wiring and relay would cope with the extra load?

Anybody been in the same situation?

I wanted quad lamps on mine but was told by the dealer that it would invalidate the warranty because of the extra load on the electrics.

I guess it's not a problem if the warranty has expired.

I had a pair fitted when I bought it and another pair fitted about 6 months later, all done by BMW.

Removed offensive remarks.

my dealer is half way between Babes' and like Tucker's. He said the warranty is rayt, 'cept if I need a new battery I'm not covered. Suits me!

I have the two additional headlights. I was going to get four, my dealer (Altwood-Tring) told me that 4 lights would NOT invalidate my warranty. I settled on two in the end purely because of price. Perhaps different dealers have different policies?
