Chromeline Exterior - retrofit a possibility ?

Hi all .

I was to take delivery of our 2nd Mini yesterday but found that the dealer hadn't added the Chromeline exterior to the original order despite agreeing it was part of the deal and this option having been paid for ! , I didn't take the car despite it being registered and paid for...dealer insists they can retrofit the Chromeline exterior , whats the view ?

Firstly! Welcome to MINI2!

Fortunately, All of the parts in the Chrome Line exterior pack can be retrofitted, if teh dealer is willing to do this at their expense, let them!

Make sure you get a car from them at thier cost while they rectify yours too

Nice to see more new Irish owners on MINI2.
Shame about the mistake on the chrome line exterior
But as you were informed above it is retro-fitable.
What dealer was it as a matter of interest?
You should think of doing MTM 2006 this May bank holiday weekend,if you have'nt already done it! Details in the Social and Region Specific-Uk and Ireland section.

Just as a follow up the Mini dealer deregistered the car provided with the absent chromeline exterior and agreed that wasn't the spec I'd ordered , he has told me that he will upgrade spec from Salt to Pepper at no extra cost given the inconvenience factor ...great service really and totally unexpected ..mind you I've already paid him so that may may a slight difference , he may after all have encountered hassle with retrofit of the chromeline exterior ..... I'm happy though
