Ok, I know somebody out there that owns an MC has wanted to do this before? Have you ever tried to apply or re-create the MCS hood scoop on an MC? Can it be done? If so, how did you do it? Can I simply bolt it on or will I need to cut into my existing hood? Looking for any help here as I really want to take some of the best visual aspects of the MCS and apply it to my MC and I think the hood scoop is one of the coolest aspects!! Wouldn't you agree.

Some people have done it yes. Easiest thing to do is get yourself an MCS bonnet and fit.

Thank you Root Ginger for your response. I have actually been in contact with my MINI dealer and was just about ready to do exactly what you suggested when I found out that it was going to be about $700 or so painted. Not too bad, wish it would be cheaper, but I am worried about the paint matching. My MC is an Astro Metallic Black color. I have read other posts about the difficulty of matching MINI's paint. Would you be concerned also?
