I don't think you chose very good options! I have aero side skirts, don't personally like the aero front or rear bumpers. Hella driving lights. JCW wheels and brakes. Union Jack Mirror caps, that I'm still not 100% sure about. But they seem to make heads turn and I got them of ebay for half price, brand new and they are genuine BMW?

Have had it a week tomorrow. It is a 2002 dark silver w/white MCS. It came with checkerboard around the sunroof, and black bonnet/boot strips. Have already added white pinstripes along edges of the bonnet&boot strips and chrome lug nut covers. Have ordered a chrome hood scoop and chrome grille as well as JCW checkerboard floor mats and checkered valve stems. Most likely will also order "chrome" side moulding strips. |

I have the facelift grille on my 2002 Cooper (I always thought the original grill was too fussy, and it was difficult to clean). The main reason for the facelift seems to be to save BMW money, but there are some positives. Here is a list of the facelifted parts, and MY OPINION on why they are cheaper to manufacture and also any positives of the facelift. Front Bumper: Chrome line option gives you only a few slithers of chrome, no stainless steel mesh (Looks OK) Grille: 3 slats instead of 4 on Cooper/One, less surface area to chrome because it is smoother (Looks much less fussy) Headlights: Finished in silver paint rather than chrome. (Better illumination for halogen headlights, xenons look very smart) Rear Bumper: Chrome line option gives you only a few slithers of chrome (Can't think of a positive as I don't like the look of it!) Taillights: Looks very cheap to manufacture (Better illumination for side/brake/reverse lights)

My Mini has chrome mirror plates and white bonnet stripes. I'm really satisfied with the bonnet stripes, it looks very nice .It's an older model, so it has the old rear lights and headlights. I like the old style rear lights most, I think the newer type rear lights don't look good at all. However, I think the new style headlights are nicer then the old one's. Wheels: 17" S-spoke silver. Roof: white, with spoiler. That's about it....for now

I fitted the amber/black sidemarker assembly from the N/A Cooper onto my '06 MCS. Looks much better than the chrome/clear S sidemarkers. Purchased them from the BMW dealer next door to my MINI dealer, and took about 5 minutes to install both sides thanks to the advice from my Motoring Advisor.
