Bonnet Stripe advice please. - MINI2

Want to add cool bonnet stripes to black mini. Is the paintwork stil good underneath if we remove them in time? Am hoping to keep our little friend for some while yet and may get fed up wih stripes!!

as long as its looked after an polished it shouldnt turn into an ex royal mail lookalike

My jet black mini has matt black bonnet stripes. Looks very subtle and very cool. Shouldn't be any problem with paint as long as you clean the car and wax it on a regular basis

I just removed a set of bonnet stripes from my car and replaced them with a set that were not as wide. The first set had been on the car for 7 1/2 months and there was no difference in the paint color. I do keep the car clean/waxed, but it is parked under an awning and not kept in a garage so it is exposed to the elements daily.
