magnetic stripes and decals

am thinking of adding magnetic stripes and maybe door decals to my 2006 MCS.

anyone used metallic--and what did you like or not like?
also if you were happy what company did you use??

We haven't used the magnetic stuff though as I don't really trust it flying off at break neck speed and hitting someone!!

I know Rakey had the magnetic bonnet stripes and so did i at one time.

They now take pride of place stuck to the fridge/freezer

There was a great pic of Rakey's car with just one stripe haha the other flew off on the motorway i beleive

They are cool and pretty funky to chop n change - just be careful when they start to wear loose.

I think magnetic stickers or numbers should be cool and should stay as long as the surface is flat

The MCS bonnet is a bit of a pain for stripes due to the curves

I've had magnetic bonnet stripes on my MINI for about four months now, without any problems. They have never flown off, and I've tested them up to 100 MPH.

I think they key to preventing them from flying off is to cut them correctly, so there is no overhang. Anyway, I bought mine from MiniMania.
