| I'll try and explain it after recently installing them on the other halfs cooper. I assume first of all that the brackets are as below? I have labelled them as though you are looking from the front of the Mini. You slide each between the grilles and the furthest point left and right and marry them up to the bonnet bracing. You can then mark and drill (carefully) small guide holes. the ones I bought didn't come with nuts and bolts, so I used some self tappers to fix them.
