Bonnet Scoop

Hi all,

Anybody know where you can buy a white bonnet scoop for the cooper s from? looked
on ebay and done a search but cant seem to find one anywhere.

If not, what colour white would i need to use to spray the thing myself, so it's the same
colour white that is used on the roofs.

Doubt you will find one that colour as it's not a colour available from MINI.

The roof colour is Aspen White

The paint codes for the white used on MINI roofs are Aspen White 899 or Pepper White 850 - I am SUCH an anorak!

You'll need to get a dealer to check which yours is from your chassis number.

Any paintshop will be able to mix you up some paint , but probably only in a fairly large quantity, so again you'd be better off asking your dealer's bodyshop if they can spare enough to paint the scoop.

850 is Pepper White, and you'll know this colour immediately, it's a creamy eggshell off white colour.

Anyone know how much a new (un-painted) scoop would cost from Mini?

I'm also thinking about doing this but i would like to keep the original one so i can change it back if i want to.

cheers for the replies chaps, I'll pay a visit to the dealers, yep, its the aspen white
i need, I would think they should be able to supply me with some or at least tell me
close match available from somewhere else.
