Shopping dent and repair

Hi Guys,

I've got my Cooper S booked into the BMW dealers for a repair to the offside rear panel.

I noticed a couple of days ago that I had a 2 inch line/crease in the panel with some paint chipping. I took it to my local dealer and they've quoted me £225 (inc. VAT) to repair it.

My only concern is that when they colour match the paint it's going to be noticeable. They've also said they need to fill bits of it (??!!), is this normal? The colour is Hyper Blue.

Has anyone else had this sort of repair done before and is it noticeable? I'm really concerned about it

This happened to my Clio (my previous car) some idiot 'push started their car into the side of mine!! (not to my MINI touch wood!!) and the garage i went too did a fab job of filling/sanding and re-spraying, couldnt see a mark after!!

So... as long as the team know what theyre doin (bmw are normally pretty gd)... ya baby mini will be fine!!... and remember-ur paying-so hold onto ya cash until ur truelly happy with the job!!
