Bonnet Scoop... Option?

Does anyone know if it is at all possible to get a different colored scoop (aftermarket)?? I've seen carbon fibre ones, but unsure of how they go on. Any info related to this would help.

Thanks

the carbon fiber one is real easy to fit takes about 5 mins, it is only held on by four bolts under the bonnet. there are also chrome ones and have also seen people fit white ones to go with there roof. the colors are endless

Think you best bet is get a primered one ordered from the dealer and get it sprayed...or buy a prepainted one but its more $$$

Thought that as there is one near me, but he's in the States and MINI's are not as common. So wouldn't know if they'd have a MINI breakers.

A brand new Scoop with a Primer Finish from you dealer is relatively cheap at around £40- {$75}. Especially as most should be able to post it you for Free

I bought a black II scoop off of ebay for £10.00... Also bought a black II boot handle from a breakers yard... I have HB/B so the scoop and boot handle look great... I had quotes ranging from £40/£60 to have a scoop sprayed...

As long as we're on the topic of the bonnet. Has anyone ever seen a scoop like this one??? If so, where can I get one/ check the cost??? Id say it looks pretty sweet, very different.

Anyone know where this scoop is sold???

Sef,

Id really like to see some pics!!! Im getting a DS/B, and the roof color is exactly why I want the black scoop. How did you fit the scoop? How long did it take? Did you do it yourself?

Scoop easily changed in 10 minutes by simply undoing a couple of screws underneath the bonnet

Do you have pics of what this looks like? I potentially have a HB/B on the way, and would love to see
