I had the same problem last winter with my passenger side headlight. I was going to take it to my dealer to get it checked over, but didn't have much spare time to take it down. By the time I got round to taking it there, the thing had cleared up on its own. Its not happened again but If it re-appears this winter I'll be taking it in straight away.

Same thing happened to my 06 during last fall's very rainy season.. though it cleared up in a few days. Other local MINIer's told me this happens and not to worry about it.

Sounds like moisture is getting past the seal. I'd get it checked out before it has a detrimental effect on the reflector.

Had this problem (water running down the inside of the lens) !!!)after the dealer did a courtesy "CAR WASH" . Most prob some XXXXXX was over zealous with power jet washer. By the time it was due to go back to the dealer, it seems to have cured itself.

I also note that there is a vent hole at the back of the houssing (on preface lift) which it appears you can open or close it.
