R56 aero spoiler on R50 ?

Will an R56 aero spoiler fit an R50 MINI ? as i want to be different and get one fitted ?

Do they have to be bolted down? or like the old one stuck ?

Jordan, Sorry to say that the R56 Aero kit spoiler is bolted down and the whole top roof part comes away and is replaced. So no can do. You can see the DIY here: MotoringFile » Archive » R56 Rear Spoiler Official Install PDF

The way the new MINI works is that (as oppsed to the R50/52/53) the spoiler/rear roof section on the tailgate is all one plastic part. The entire section bolts on/off depending on spoiler/model choice.

The R50 aero kit spoiler is lush though!! Makes the car look amazing! I had one on my One and I can't look at the Pepper pack spoiler anymore as its just too small! I keep thinking wheres the spoiler? The aero kit spoiler will look brilliant on yours! Happy modding!!
