Aero Side Skirt Issues?

Does anyone know of any issues regarding the fitting of the Aero Side Skirts?

Saw somewhere that one of the holes on the near side needs to be tapped in a few mm's in order that it fits tight?
I can't find the posting but from what I remember it was the first hole after the door.

Are there any other things to look out for or that need preping first in order to get a proper fit?

Cheers

there are a few threads on here about this and the gap that can appear, its all to do with using the correct colour clips to get a close fit

If you have a search then I am sure you will find the threads that tell you what colour to use

as im aware thers two colours a white one and a orange one and i think the orange one is smaller which in turn will pull the skirt closer to the car when cliped in,

if you use a white 1 in place of the orange 1 the you will end up with a small gap like i have!

so you need to check which clips go were and what clips you have on there then see if thats the case as i think its is for me!

the dealers keeps both types of these clips in stock, because there used on the internal panels also!

i bought a few for my panels when i was repairing something and cost me about 97p for 3 of them!
