pin stripes

I saw a black MINI Cooper (white roof) with white pinstripes on door and side. It was actually a very nice but subtle effect that I think I liked. I just got a quick glance from a distance. Does anyone have photos of MINIs with side pinstripes?

No, but one thing I was considering doing was taking some very thin masking tape and simulating pin stripes. It wouldn't be the right color, but would give me/friends a feel for what it would look like. If I didn't like the look, I can remove masking tape without hurting the finish.

Sealevel has some very nice pinstripes on his PS/B MCS. He even has a very small MINI logo as part of his pinstripe. Very, very classy. Perhaps he will post some pics for you.

you can buy thin, black vinyl tape at staples and use that to approximate the pin strips without harming your paint. It will actually stay on quite a while before the rain gets to it. It comes in different widths too.
