JCW exhaust trims with Aero Kit

Its taken me weeks to get the right size JCW trims for my '06 MCSC exhaust to compliment the Aero Kit. They really complete the look of the body kit as the standard pea shooters looked lost in the rear aero! [see the pics]

I have two other sets of JCW trims that do not fit facelift MCS or MCSC exhausts as the pipe diameter is larger. I got around this problem by getting these trims which are for the Cooper Sound Kit. They are shorter and fatter and fit perfectly without fouling the pipe bends etc. And no grinding...

Hope this helps some people as I couldn't find the info and had to go by trial and error.

I will be putting the other JCW trims on the classifieds so anyone interested watch out for these

Looks mate but can you confirm that I'm understanding you right....the ones you've fitted are the ones for the cooper that you get with the sound kit? and these fit perfectly first time round with no cutting or welding?
And also do you know if these will fit the pre-face lift MCS...don't think the exhaust changed did it?
You could have found the answer to all my problems with this trick dude ,

Yes, these are the cooper sound kit trims, and they need no trimming on a facelift MCS. As far as I can tell through research on this board there is a difference in the pre-facelift exhaust diameter [smaller]. So you may need a different part - if you do I have two brand new ones sitting here that I ordered in error! You are looking at about £40 a trim.
