Spot Lamps On Mini Cooper - Quad or Twin

Hi guys, just wondering what everyone thought looked better because ive had mixed opinions - quad spot lights or twin spot lights (lamps between the headlights on the front grille). If anyone could post pics that would also be a great help.

thanks

I like the quad look. I have twins fitted at the moment but have another set of spots ready to go on although don't know whether to fit using similar brackets to the OEM or to get a flat bar manufactured?

Any thoughts / ideas from anyone?

I fitted my quads with four brackets but its not possible to get them all perfectly spaced. Although I used 3rd party brackets I think they are cut exactly as the OEM ones. You can't really notice that they are not perfectly spaced and I prefer this rather than seeing a metal flat bar being on show.

I had Quads on my MCS and my partners MC has Twins. I defo prefer quads on a MCS but twins on a MC. There has been known probs with fitting quads, as some cars have overhaeted because of lack of air flow. I must say that i did never experience any probs at all, even with the scorching temps last summer.

Have a look in my gallery and see what you think.

I think it all depends on the look your going for.

Jax has got twin spots on her cooper, which gives it an almost 'classic' look along with the bonnet stripes.

As for my GP, I'm getting quads fitted in a weeks time. I think this will give the car a much more 'aggressive' look, in line with the rest of the car.

I went for 2 in the end, kind of regretting not getting the 4

The 2 look good though - make sure they line up with stripes if you have them

Similiar to the four spots theory on warranty / TLC issues...I was told that MINI did not offer spots for the ONE D, but I had mine fitted at my local dealer and they did not even question it. I would love four spots, but at £250 for two (quotes ranged from £290 - £380) I dont think I could have stretched to £500. I do like the looks of the two on my car though.

James.
