Sup guys, i just wanted to shout out to all those aero kit owners...is it worth the price for its look??? and how do u guys like it..compared to non kitted ones...thanx a lot
I didn't use a dealer fitted the kit myself, its not a hard job just give yourself a day and take your time. As for the cost i got the kit from Minisport the kit is US spec Aero kit and it was £560 delivered. Well worth every penny
Looks spot on Kass66. I'm on my second MINI and both have had the Aerokits. Makes the car look so much more aggressive. MINI should fit them as standard IMHO
Ho Scotty, I'm paying just over £1k including fitting and the aero spoiler....
I looked at the MINISPORT kit, but people seem to have had bad luck with getting the complete package, even after numerous calls. Plus I would still need the spoiler. I would also then have to find someone to fit the kit, because I'm the one who managed to turn the fitting of mirror caps into one big drama.
Taking all the above into consideration, plus the 'peace of mind' (2yr warranty) I'll have from BMW supplying and fitting the kit. It just seemed to be the best all round option. Plus Chris from Woodmans was fantastic to deal with
But thanks all the same for the tip about the MINISPORT deal...
Regards,
James.

Love your mates kit with the vipers, looks CL... are those vipers from the Stealers do you know or not? if not do you know where they're from, really want some, running all the way over the front bumper like those....
Thanks for your comments my mate will be pleased, his S did get quite alot of attention at that show where pics were taken.
He got the Vipers from a company on ebay, i helped him fit them seemed to be good quality vinyl.
Have just some Shelby stripes for my S from them, really good service quick delivery.
Here is a better pic of the Viper and some of the Shelby's that my S will be dressed in very soon.
fitted my skirts and front bumper onto my R53 2002 cooper S and I love them. Mine don't catch any more than my stock bumper did on 35mm lowring springs and it looks really good when its that low to the ground. Worth every penny of the 550 that i paid
