Retro fitting JCW exhaust tips to MCS Exhaust

Ok, currently have GTT exhaust tips but personally not keen on the way they point to the ground and how far they stick out.

I want to improve the look of the exhaust tips but dont want to spend big money on a cat back system.

I've heard some people fit JCW exhaust tips to a standard MCS, I have found where I can get hold of a pair but apparantly you need to modify them to make them fit?

Any ideas and suggestions please?

Thanks

You need to grind out the inside of the exhaust tips as the JCW exhaust is smaller bore than standard.

I had these on my car for a few months and they will also point at the ground and stick out further than standard - probably more so than the GTT ones.

Costly difficult job - wouldn't do it again.

I have the venturi type Mini exhaust tips now - really nice and fit perfectly, Minimania imported some in on a group buy.

This is the only photo I have showing the JCW tips on the car.

I might have some photos of the inside of the tips from when I sold them on eBay - I will look tonight when I get home.

Think Neil is talking about these ones !
Easy job to fit just two small hex bolts.

OH yeh! Look miles better than standard 'COKE CAN' tips, yes they are expensive but you don't have to cut, grind or swear to get them to fit like you have to to get the JCW ones to fit.
