got a set today! havent fitted them as yet....just wanted to know would installing them compromise any warranty issues with the car.....also marcy did you get a set of extra bulbs with yours.....was also told that you couls add extra indicator lights....anyone done that???
yes i got some extra builbs with mine there orange indicator builbs but dont know if id like a indicator in the headlight so might do something else with them and as for warranty i dont know mines 5 years old so have no warranty
...ok.so exactly how much technical knowledge do i need when replacing the standard headlights?....as the original headlights have 2 bulbs and the new ones have 3 (inc. halos)..im guessing the outer bulbs are the ones at the bottom tof the standard ones?......there are a set of instructions that show that you have to follow the wires (underneath the sound-deading material..) .....is there a step by step guide or is it REALLY simple?
..bare in mind, i've never really fiddled around with any wires near the engine bay.....

....also..do the halos come on with the sidelights?
so what bulb is that in the outer light?...are those the bulbs that were originally in the headlights (the bottom bulb of the standard ones)??...also, how have you wired up the halos?

That would be the side light i'd say then the inner one to that would be the main beam then the upper one to them would be dipped all guess work so i won't be held responsible
did u guys need additional wire for connecting up the halo???

.....am i the only person having great difficulty with these?....wiring,etc.? is there a step by step guide...the set of instructions that came with them are not very clear

fitted my chrome ones in today...a bit tricky (if you dont know what you're doing!)....
also noticed that the halos are not very bright (especially when you have low beams on)
OH and one other thing.....one of the headlights (the driver side) was a funny as in wasnt able to fit flush to the bonnet.it buldges up like its higher.the passenger side one is fine tho. main concern is if any leakage...also i do notice it when im driving that i can actually see the headlight (chrome bit) from the drivers side. anyone else have this problem...or have i just been given a dodgy headlight???
i dont know if mine is like that i cant remember but could be for beem alinement
the top light is headlight iner light is mainbeem ouer light is set up for idicator or as you please there is a normal push in and twist bulb and i got white and orange with mine so you can do as you please with it will need wireing in halo and outer light
ok...so ive contacted the manufacturer and theyve offered to give me a replacement set.......sounds good..although...i really like the black ones now......
can i just say that these are alot brighter then the phase 1 xenons,and a hell of alot lighter too,as there is no washers,ballasts,motor for the headlight level.
fitting was easy if your good with a spanner,and i found it easy to wire up too.
