Try PIAA silicon coated. Tremendous things and no noise at all, not cheap though

I have them, they are pretty good, very quiet, the only thing i would say is the passenger one sits slightly off the glass untill it is about 1/4 sweep round. The blade seems quite stiff.

They do clear the glass very well with no smears.

True but they last for longer and mine have turned out to be very cost effective .

Some people are like a Slinky ........ not really good for anything, but you still can't help
but smile when you shove them down the stairs

Ive have a similar set from eBay, they were a little cheaper but they work great with no noise or smears, better than my OEM one's.

PIAA also do a curved wiper which will stop the blade lifting on the passenger side. The prod code is WS48CEB for pass side.

Does that fit the R56's ? And any idea of the code for the drivers side...

...I so hate the present ones, drivers side in parthetic, keep on juddering across windscreen.

and yes, I know in wrong forum, but appears that it is a common issue.

I thing so. I know the R50 is 18" and 19", I assume they are all the same. Best thing to do is measure them. Check out the piaa website for all info.

Dont be fooled by the super silicone wiper thing tho, the magic to them is the treatment they come with. They are excellent quality wipers tho I must admit.

They are the same length as mentioned...PIAA sounded promising, but no spoiler blades for the drivers side so not ideal.

I did think about buying a PIAA curved one for passenger and one of the new style blades for the drivers side....but...the look of one side being different from other would not be right (sad that I think about these things)...maybe just try buying the window treatment and see if that sorts issue with the standard blades...

I had piaa's silicone wipers on my car about 3 years ago. Everyone raves about them being the best thing since sliced bread. But, to be honest, they appear just like standard rubber blades. And as I said before they are no different unless you use the included treatment.

WIPERBLADES.CO.UK : The UK's Premier Online Store sell the wiper treatment, so give it a whirl. I think it has something like 99% alcohol and a small bit of lubricant treatment.

I've ordered a set of the blades at the top of this thread...and am in process of ordering the treatment...hopefully a combination of both with sort the issue.

Cheers for the help..

We've got XOPC flat wiper blades on my missus's car. They were easy to fit in place of normal blades. They look great & they do a great wipe with no noise or judder. I decided to get a pair for my car, and i went for their Silicone Flat Blades. Not cheap, but with a year's warranty. They work really well & give the screen a kind of rain-x effect, so the rain just flies off at anything over 50
