Shark fin aerial

The other day i saw a black / white mcs on the M1 near Luton. It had a Shark Fin style aerial on it does anyone know where i can buy one from. I was going to rob the one of the other halfs X3 but its way too big

I saw one of these on a black MCS, looked really tidy. I'd be interested to know too

Its for the MINI's built prior to 2004 that had Factory Navigation fitted, after 2004 they went to the boring standard aerial as BMW said it looked too much like the 3 series etc.

I have one on my 2004/02 MCS, with SatNav. Had over a dozen people ask me about it. mainly people who think its been nicked off a BMW. ( sad init )

Got one on my Jun 2004 MCS!

It's only for the Sat Nav tho i think, the radio aerial is embedded in the o/s rear window.

So i think if you wanted to replace the normal roof aerial, you would also need a replacement window so you retained a radio aerial.

I have one of these on my mini, the sat nav stopped working the other day. I took it into mini, turns out that some oik has tried to nick it. They said it will cost me £286 to have a new ariel and fitting! Any ideas on an alternative???
