who sells decent plates

IE a number plate that might last 5yrs and still look good

dealers, halfrauds and a guy in ireland have all failed to provide a plate that looks any good after 18months
i don't remember this being the case 20yrs ago whats happening
looking at buying plate number 5 and not even 3yrs old yet
its costing me a packet... would like a nice plate to last as long as the rest of the car.....
can anybody recommend some one to me

like everything else in life, number plates are not made to last a long time.

not really a problem for most people as cars are only kept on average for three years.

Our original plates are still legal and look pretty good, and they are 5 years old this year - Got a new set so we could have a Mini logo on it though Best of luck, Ollie

Have you considered pressed steel plates? Never tried them myself, but you can get the UK font and they should be legal.
