| RHD to LHD Xenon adjustment, is it possible? Hi all, Anyone know if it's possible to adjust Xenons from RHD to LHD on a 1st gen, pre-facelift? Failing that - are they difficult to swap over? Cheers...  |

 Headlamp conversion for Europe Hi I know that VW Golf and BMW with Xenons can be adjusted. See attached pdf for Golf. I am going to Europe latter in the year, but i will check to see if my Xenons can be adjusted. If BMW's can then its a fair bet that the Mini will be the same. Only check the lights when they are cold and not switched on. 20000 volts and 700 degrees can leave a nasty mark.  I'll get back to you once I have checked. The alternative is to take it to your dealer, I am sure they will onnly be too pleased to take £50 off you each time they adjust them. |

| Only after July 2004 Xenons on all MINIs can be switched over as of model refresh, July 2004. This procedure can be quite difficult. The switch is situated beneath the headlamp igniters, which needs to be removed in order to reach it. You are able to try and perform this task as it has been known that it can be reached with a very long screw driver or a suitable length dowel. Please see the images below which demonstrate the position of the levers |
