I didn't say they were White !! Painter said white is difficult, you need THE CAR and paint code and then juggle to get it right.
BMW just gave the sills and paint code to a painter, that does not work on white he said.

There are a few Mini colours that are difficult to match. Using the colour code and BMW/Mini paints doesn't always guarantee a close match. The car has to be seen and sprayouts done to determine a match. That's what we'd do

Correct And my painter said the same "car has to be seen" He specialises in Aluminum Flaked motor bike tanks. So if you get anyone in the Worcestershire area give me a shout and I will do likewise. There are pic's of my car on site.
Cheers

Im considering buying sideskirts, getting them painted BRG and getting them fitted, how much would this cost in total for someone to do? Or could I do the fitting side of things myself, how difficult is this?

sideskirts

they are so easy to fix its a 15min job the old one's clip off and the new one's clip on just get someone to hold one end of sideskirt and you have the other then clip it in to place with clips that come with sideskirts you will know where the clips will go because of the old one's you take off, you can't go wrong

As I said I forgot too tell my painter yours were White. Difficult colour to match he said, you need the car as well as paint code to get it right. BMW just gave the sills and paint code to the painter. If the painter was any good he would have asked for the car.

but they didn't say that they told me it was because of the paint being on plastic ,so they are wrong its because its a colour thats hard to match.

Too match paint on certain colours the painter needs to see the car to get it right !! Paint code will not always match, mines perfect but painter had the car.
