Poor paint on mini's?? I hit a Bee.and get a chip

My 2006 mini......gets rocks chips like crazy. I hit a bee..get a chip.
I don't even hear a stone, or pebble hitting.....and i get a chip.
Every day ...i get 3 more rock chips.
Sides of car, rear of car, front looks white freckles that grow every day
( only highway driving)
Sheesh.....
Anyone else????

Yeah I get loads of chips at the front. Not sure its down to the paintwork as apart from that I've had no problems!

I've just accepted it due to living in the middle of the countryside where theres loads of crap on the roads. I think in the future I will get my bonnet re-sprayed. I'm just about to put the Aero bumper on my car (newly painted) so that should smarten it back up!!!

I was surprised by the poor quality of paintwork on the early (2001-2) cars, dry patches and shading on light metallics seemed to be the norm on brand new cars. Whether stuff was getting remedial paintwork done at the factory pre-shipping or at the dealers, I don't know. Not terribly impressive either way.
