Fitting aero kit on chilli red - paint match?

Sorry in advance if this has been covered already, couldn't find anything on this specifically by searching. In the very near future, I will most likely be the owner of a gorgeous chilli red cooper, and I would love to get it aero kitted. My only nag is that is that as it's a 53 reg, will the paint have faded too much to put on a brand new aero kit without it looking ridiculous? Has anyone had the same problem? Thanks for any help!

Good question as I'm thinking of doing the same thing in the new year. Anyone have an answer?

I couldn't tell the difference on my 02 reg cooper when I fitted my aero kit this year. The paint fade was negligible. (See pic.)

Oh and I'd recommend getting the outside edge of the aero grilles painted body colour too if you can get it done at the same time as the rest of it - it apparently makes it look more sporty. All I know is that it looks better

mm that paint match is pretty damn close I will admit, looks awesome! Did you get your kit factory painted though or did you get it primed and then colour matched or something?

I had it all factory painted and sent from BMW Germany. However, they messed up and sent the wrong front bumper. Not only was it unpainted, but it was an standard R52 front bumper! BMW Sytner Birmingham quickly responded by painting a primed one for me and fitting it for free. I asked them to paint the aero grille edges and give me a cheap cooper s spoiler too, because this inconvenience wasn't my fault.

I can't tell the difference between any of the painted parts...
