Aero grill = Change of bonnet scooop?!

Hello all

I put a black aero grill on my car today (damn self tapping screws!!!)

Apologies for the AWFULL picture quality but here goes:

Something just doesnt look right in my opinion, i think i need to do the bottom half aero too, as the chrome on the bottom piece looks out of place now??

Im thinking maybe a black intake scoop instead of the colour coded one might do it justice? What do you guys think? Should i paint mine black/buy a black one or maybe even a carbon fibre one?!

Im also lowering it this month

Best.
Tom.

You need the lower grill sorting before doing anything else to it

You could always use plastidip to "paint" the chome on the lower grill?? Cheap alternative perhaps?

Does look better with the aero upper - black scoop would look very cool !

Supercooper/hartge210 - leccy blue and black is a superb colour combo!!

Yer i really need the bottom bit now. How much hassle is it to remove the bumper though?

They're actually carbon fibre (look) wrapped, same as the bonnet scoop, there's a few more closer detail photos in the Mini Pirate forum

The legend Phil at MINI PIRATE.com || 2008 || Mini Decals & Graphics did it

Bumper is a 10 minute job, hardest bit is removing the original grill as it held on with a combination of glue and double sided sticky tape. If your not bothered about damaging the original grill then should't be a problem, but when I did it i needed to keep the pieces from breaking or bending to much
