hi, i have to say it doesnt do much for me, but it depends on your car i guess, what colour is it? does it have a lot of other chrome already
the only alternative i can think of is one of the chrome border type surrounds, that might be a bit less in your face and you could also put one on the front. I think some people love chrome and some people hate it se expect mixed responses!
I like chrome , spesh with black (my colour) but this looks jst a bit in yer face, Id be tempted with just plate surrounds if your sold on the shiney look,IMHO
Indy blue and i do like the chrome look but like said not sure if it will make the car tacky and chavy so wanted to see a picture of one fitted or if anybody ever ordered one.
Id prefer something like this that just the plate surround as this fills the hole in the boot which i have always wondered what the big gap is for.
Personally i wouldnt. If anything I would get a chrome mount for the number plate which is much more subtle. Its up to you really. That company is pretty good though, I bought my chrome side repeater things from them and the interior chrome kit.
Im in the process of de chroming my car... sold the chrome mirror caps, blacked the belt line, just going to do the headlight rings now.
I think they do look good just depends on the matching chrome on the car and making sure there isnt too much. would look even more awesome with the new bmw led number plate lights as per ...
soz for the pic whoring but I think it would look awesome with the chrome
well the new units are deeper than the old ones so you have to cut away a lot of the internal plastic on the boot trim. then just prise off the old connectors from the old light bulb units and crimp on the new connectors that you will have to purchase with the lights.
i then bonded them in place with clear silicone sealent. they do fit flush and look awesome. i can supply and fit the mod if you have a spare boot release section or want to send down your original one. pm me if so.
