Gleaming and Cleaning

took Pepe up to the local albanians this morning

weather finally getting better and most dirt etc is off the roads now so thought would treat him

have to admit they do a great job

hand wash and chamois inside and out all glassware cleaned wheels, tyres balcked up and bodywork

Normally costs 15 quid which isnt that bad

and before you say anyting I do not have the ability to clean him at home by hand

he has been sat outside all day so thought would take some pics

You can see on one of the side shots the scratch I have down teh passenger side which my local dealer reckons will need a replacement door as is easier and cheaper than the amount of work involved

If your dealer is telling you that you require a new door for a scratch, I'm surprised he hasn't gone the full hog and said you need a new MINI!

Nice and clean

you are joking? a new door!
just take it to a local sprayshop, they can touch it in and give it a quick blow over, shouldnt cost to much, not nearly as much as a new door!

I dread to think what handwash actually involves

....Chamois
....Sponge

Seriously.... just be careful about hand car wash places. They are doing more damage to your paint-work than you think!
